Becky
My name is Becky, and I work for AT&T. I’m 52 years old, and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I’m the mother of four beautiful girls, three of whom are teenagers! As a working mom with a working husband and four daughters, you can imagine how hectic our schedules are from day-to-day. Outside of work, I’m involved in my church, an advisory board for a local school district, church choir, school choir, Samaritan’s Purse, Brownies and more, so I constantly use technology to stay connected with my family when I’m on the go. My thumbs cramp from texting! I’m not what you would call an “early adopter” of technology, but I do love it – from my handy Nokia to my trusty desktop, I live online through my blog and keep everyone moving with user groups – I just can’t get enough of it!
Brandy
Hello, world! My name is Brandy and I’m wife to Sean, and mother to Johnny (7) and Ruben (16). When I’m not running my boys to and from baseball, football, or basketball practice, we’re traveling, spending time with family and friends, or shopping (me, anyway!). We frequent music concerts (mostly country) but I listen to all genres! I’m a 10-year AT&T employee who loves Italian food and warm weather. My husband spends a lot of time out of town for work, so with hectic schedules, we rely on our phones (my personal device is an iPhone and I also use a company supplied BlackBerry Curve) to keep us connected. It amazes me that I don’t use my phone much to talk because I’m always texting the boys, sending pictures to my husband and friends, or using GPS to navigate Sacramento. Hope you enjoy my entries. Hello, my name is Priscilla. I am a career woman working for AT&T with a full professional and personal life. From the time I wake up to when I lay my head down at night, I am on the go with meetings all day and sports all night. Because I am always on the run, I use SMS a lot. With texting, I can get to the point fast. For example, when I am running late and Devin has to be picked up from the daycare, dressed and at some type of practice by 6:30 p.m., and Jacob and Tommy are finished with basketball practice and ready for pick-up as well, I’ll send a short message to my husband from my BlackBerry while sitting in my meeting, begging him for help!

My name is Cory, and I’m an early adopter. My wife (Amy) and I had our first child in fall 2009. As a 7-year AT&T employee, I’m surrounded by technology and often seduced by its allure. My free time is spent playing sports, writing, reading and keeping up with the latest gadgets. Amy and I are constantly on the go, and rely on our cell phones and other devices to keep our calendars in sync. We’re involved in our church, numerous athletic activities, and spend as much time as possible with family and friends. Inspired by colleagues and friends with young children, I’ve turned to blogging as a way to capture important events and moments to share with my wife, our children-to-be, family, and friends.

My name is Effie and I work for AT&T! I reside in Texas and am a single mother of a 10-year old son, Chase! My parenting skills are evolving. I never feel like I know enough, so am always searching for new ways to expand my knowledge when it comes to parenting. Although I am very busy with my mommy and work duties, I still try to maintain a balance by making time for myself. One of my favorite things to do during “me” time is surf the Internet. I enjoy updating my Myspace and Facebook pages that help keep me connected to old friends in my hometown.

Hi, I’m Stephanie – also known as Mom, Manager, Avid Shopper, and Friend! I have 13 years of service at AT&T in Dallas. Everyday is exciting and fast paced with TONS of changes. I have two 11 year olds at home. My tweens, as I call them, are my son, Christopher, and my daughter, Natalia. They are busy and constantly in motion with their huge social circles. The kids, family, and I enjoy traveling (yup we are frequent flyers!), and through all of this, we stay connected via our cell phones and e-mail. I look forward to hearing of how you stay connected with your family!

Greetings from Atlanta! I am Michael and work for AT&T in Atlanta. My wife and I have two children Evan, 20, and Kaila, 16. I also have a faithful steed named Aquinnah. Evan attends college, and Kaila spends the majority of her time in a dance company. Our family likes to take vacations together on which we’ve visited various places including Orlando, New York City, and Martha’s Vineyard. I am amazed at how my children use text messaging as their main method of communication. My wife and I primarily use our mobile phones to talk, but do text our children. I have not yet mastered texting, but am starting to get the hang of it!
