This is hysterical! But, I often think about how awesome it woud be to have a smartphone to share any frugal finds while shopping with my mommy fam & friends, and ask that they do the same. You’re mom rocks though, b/c she has a written text with sizes rather then remembering the info herself! Brilliant & cool mom!

I think it’s great that your mom is texting! My mom is 62 and she texts too! She loves it. She is faster than I am! Go Moms!!

My mom was the same way! It took her forever just to get a cell phone, but when she finally did she had to get the texting option. She LOVED texting. Of course, now she has moved on to a huge data plan that I don’t even have!! Sad to say my mom is cooler than me, lol!!

Well, I’m glad I could be so amusing! I have to say I am enjoying the text feature on my Solstice phone. It’s a great way to contact someone without interrupting what they are doing.

That is one scary photo though. I prefer the Fiona with smartphone photo. Next thing you know, she will be texting me sizes, colors, and stores!

I really enjoyed the first series of texts from mom when she was still getting used to the touch screen (to be fair, it took me a while to get used to as well). She’d hit a wrong letter every other word and not notice it until she was at the end of a message, so it looked a little like a drunk text. She’s got it down now though!
