I know having the pictures sent via text made it easier for me and Grandma and Grandpa Gilligan to share the photos with everyone the day after Fi was born, while waiting for photos.

As I think back to Fiona’s birth, and now look at what I titled this blog, I realize I probably should have referred to it as the Wireless Age. Things have been digital for some time now, but we’re now untethered to wired devices. Pretty much everything can be taken on the go and shared at will.

I remember receiving the texts at work and I literally jumped out of my chair to tell everyone in the office! THEN I got the pictures! …sent to me within moments of the announcement. I was (and am still) so excited for your growing family… and I am so happy to be a part of the excitement. Thank goodness for technology. Cheers to the happy and healthy family!
