I love it!!!!!!!! This function can eliminate so many disagreements and teeth clenching rides home from school with the carpool gang! No need to break every speed limit in my mini van as we race home to see that favorite show. Thanks for helping this Mom remain cool and keep away from ‘picking up paper’ on the way home.

See – your daughter is brilliant for knowing that there IS Web Remote Access…and you are a brilliant mom for responding to her plea. Great job explaining how it works! Thanks Becky!

If you gave your daughter an iPhone she could have used the iPhone app to add the recording herself.

That is really cool! What a neat feature. You might not need it all the time but, when you do, it would be a life-saver. Thanks for telling me about this!

Bec, You make U-verse so “U-ser” friendly! A nifty option to know about. We have U-verse and appreciate finding out all the ways it makes life easier. Thanks for keeping us updated.

What a neat service. Since I live in the boondocks I still can’t have it–I use the competitor. Lucky You!

Brilliant concept. We need this in our household! My husband calls home all the time to request someone to record his show – or we will be out to dinner and we realize we both forgot to record some show. Very nice.

    13. Becky says:

Votemom: That would be “Hannah Montana” – natch! :-)

If Larry saw this he’d insist that at&t provide this in our (Verizon) territory… think of all the sports event he NEEDS to record!

This makes me start thinking about cool ways to set limits on TV too. If you have things recorded there is none of this “but I want to watch this next…”

DVR revolutionized the way we watch TV. Leave it to ATT to revolutionize DVR. U-Verse sounds amazing.

Again–I wish we had AT&T in our Montana territory–when are you guys expanding up here? We all want iphones and cool capabilities like this!

Great tip Becky. Amy and I use this feature pretty often. We even use the iPhone U-verse app to record shows/events when we’re not near a computer. God forbid we’d miss our favorite show :)

As always it is great to see how you are using your God-given gifts! I laughed when I saw your office walls and heard your comment about your refrigerator. I don’t know about your ‘fridge, but your office is naked compared to what you did to my room during the early seventies. Can you believe it was that long ago?

      Love you.

Good info to have. If I ever get as computer-savvy as I should be, I will use it. I’m sure all my kids do already.

Now if only we could DELETE the Hannah Montana episodes after she’s watched them 20 times.

Does AT&T plan on coming out with any little sister remotes? If not, then get on it innovation department.

My brother-in-law has uverse. He panicked yesterday because he forgot to set the dvr for the colts game. When he picked up Geoff, he ran in the house to sign in and set the DVR. Was pretty neat!

Thanks for letting us know about this. I knew we could do it, but I had never taken the time to figure out how. I didn’t think it could be so easy, but it really is. This will also be a great way for deleting old shows that the kids are done with because it’s faster than using the remote!
