Yes! I can't focus if I don't have my phone nearby because I worry someone will call me from my daughter's school and I won't be able to get the call. She has food allergies so I constantly worry she will be exposed and have a reaction.

Today I got a call from my daughter's after-school theater class saying she had fallen and cut her forehead. I rushed to the theater and found she had a huge gash that was bleeding pretty badly. Had I not had my phone with me, she would have likely sat there for another 30 minutes before I would have come to get her at the end of class. What did parents do before mobile phones? I'd be a nervous wreck without mine!
