Ive had the same phone for 5yrs!! It doesnt have all the apps that these smartphones have but it does something they generally dont do! MAKE A PHONE CALL!!! I do have text too.. It works all the time , I havent lost it or broke it and it keeps on workin, maybe if it ever quits workin I might upgrade ?? But till then people can keep callin my phone an antique!! Having the internet and other applications at my fingertips is just amazing! I remember once last spring my grandson called, locked out of his house after school. I was able to use my smartphone to look up his school phone number on the internet. I was also able to actually call the school by simply touching the number on the screen. It was that easy to find out there was still someone at the school who could let him back in to get his house key. His PaPa stayed on the phone with him during the short walk to school and back. This saved us about an hours' trip over to the house with our spare key. I use my smartphone all the time for things like this. I'm not sure how I ever did without it!
