I love it!!! It’s absolutely perfect for you. I can only imagine the comments this will elicit from your cohorts. You go girl, and your buds will love it even if Rachel doesn’t know what “buds” are!!! LOL

Your infomercial was actually helpful. I see that I don’t need to mess with the computer to download a ringtone. Since I’m low tech-that’s a good thing!

How cool is that? I KNOW how easy it is to use AT&T cell phones because our family has 3. Bill (15) & I have the incredible AT&T Eternity touch. Bill has downloaded a ringtone, and I, the utilitarian person that I am, use the built-in ringtone. I am partial to the AT&T Mirage & AT&T tone. Great video by the way… Lucy

So how do you do this without teenage techno guru’s in the household?!

I have read the warrantee agreement and the other stuff. It sound good, I am not in a position to take advantage of it and though I like it I try to keep my web presence and time to a minimum. I use four web sites and only four and never more than a few hours per week. it seems nice, but I don’t think it is for me personally.

Ok, now do you rent Rachael out and can she do this remotely?

While the ringtone advertised is somewhat reminiscent of our Becky, it is certainly not the only music that would be appropos…another tune that comes to mind is certainly “The Surprise Symphony”….

Being a gereactric, I seriously doubt that I will ever encounter a 3G. I don’t even have a camera phone! If I should get one of these, I’ll drive to San Antoio and have Rachael pick my ring tone for me. She makes it sound so easy.

You are so brave. I don’t think I’d trust any of my boys to set my ringtone for me. They love to embarrass me – and I’d not know how to change it back!

Hey Becky and Rach – seriously thanks for the tutorial on ringtones… Hubby needs a new one – something louder that he can hear better and tonight I’ll use his phone and go to the “mall” and get him one! Keep up the good work – shels

We already assumed it was easy for teenagers. How do we do it?

OMG, Isn’t it horrible that we have to get our kids to help us with our electronics. LOL. Great Job Becky!!

Yes, it is true — kids=tech support. Enjoy your tips Becky.

You know, teenagers view their parents as ATMs that drive so I firmly believe in extracting any available value in return! I have learned a techno ton from my kids – including how to set ringtones. I have less time to sit and play w/choices than does Rachel, so I was more than happy to let her shop the ‘tones and offer me suggestions. When I do it all myself, I invariably choose online self-help. I hate calling any kind of sales or support office. I go to http://www.att.com/wireless and choose “Support.” Because we have online accounts, the “help” associated with our equipment – including my sweet little LG CU400 – is right there. I don’t have to sift through mounds of extraneous information. So for me – I either ask my kids, or go look it up online at att.com/wireless. Becky p.s. On my old phone, my kids chose “I’m Too Sexy” for my ringtone, much to the delight of my co-workers.

I can feel the bucket of water already!
I had to get Emily to show me how to use my new phone with the keyboard. She says next I’m getting the AT&t version of the ‘Jitterbug’!

I think the song is a perfect fit for you! I didn’t understand half of what Rachel was talking about but, as she will attest, I am hopelessly out of date and behind the times for someone in their 30’s. However, it is good to know that should I ever have a phone that can do that stuff, it is pretty easy to do.

that song would be erased off my phone within about 2 days. drives me crazy. but i’m glad you are happy!

I love it!!!! You’re a maniac. Can Rachel pick out an appropriate song for me? Makes me miss my Baylor Bear Techie! Maybe I could do this myself with your directions?

I have no idea what the ringtone is on my phone — I only turn it on in emergencies — and so, there you have the sad truth.

I suggest to everyone that if you don’t have a teenager in the house — you do everything you can to cultivate one — neighbors are good — church is good — they’ll usually take pity on anyone over 30 and just do whatever you need for you! If you play your cards right, you never have to actually LEARN anything.

Think you have a money maker there!! Rent Rachel out to your non-techy friends for ring-tone consultation!! Thanks!! Now I know how to change my own ring tone!!!
