Great tip, Becky! I do something similar – I use my LetraTag label maker to wrap around the wire part of the charger, power cord, etc. of each electronic. They all look so much alike, and when they’ve been out of use for awhile, it’s hard to tell what is what.
Love the new blog!

I love it! I just cleaned out all sorts of chargers and electronic junk that I had absolutely no idea what to do with. I could not remember what they were to and what they charged. What if I threw away something important!? I would be sorry. Or what if I kept something useless? It would keep me from finding what I needed. Thanks so much for the tip. I will start today.

We have the exact same problem at our house. Frequently can’t figure what device the cord fits, if we still have the device and who owns it. Great idea to label the plug cord. I’m adding a white marker to my HEB list this week. This is a great way to get greener, recycle and get rid of unused/expired plug cords. Thanks!

Great hint! I think I might write a bit SMALLER on the charger but I think that’s a great idea. I know my household has chargers in drawers, chargers plugged in, chargers on the desk…. and it is often trial and error to figure out what it can charge!
Keep the hints coming….

I like the idea of marking the name of the device on each charger. If you put your initials on it, then you switch phones with another family member, you could have a problem erasing what was previously written. Good tip.

Our chargers were not allowed to be near each other. Thus, they each staked out a corner of every room in the house. Chargers everywhere! Now they can socialize and be contained in one efficient area. Thanks Becky!

Oh, I will totally be doing this. I keep them all in one box and it’s such a hassle figuring out what is what. Now, have any pointers for managing the tangling cords?

How about decorating these suckers for some wall art? Picture beads, paint, faux diamonds.
Macaroni art?

Becky,
Great tip! Also, when you find an old charger that you no longer need, you can recycle your old chargers and phones at http://www.Cell4Dough.com which offers a Fundraising Program for organizations.

I wish each charger would come with a small device that rolls up the extra wire automatically. there will be no messy bungles of wires all around the room. I’m so sick of seeying those wires in every room and every where!
