Someone recently asked how do you know when to upgrade your phone?
For me, I was happy with my Motorola RAZR until my son sent me a text and I couldn’t reply. Okay, I could reply, just not in a timely manner. I found texting confusing without a key board and I don’t need any more confusion in my life. I realized if I wanted to keep in touch with him I was going to have to learn to text. So I upgraded to the Palm® Centro just for the key board. In just a short day or two, I learned how to send and receive text messages. It’s so easy. I love it!

In a previous life, I owned the Cingular 8125. I now have the Motorola RAZR and I am missing all of the features of a SmartPhone. I can text with the phone I have, but I would be able to text a lot faster with a regular keyboard. I’d also like to be able to surf the web from anywhere.

I just upgraded from a RAZR to a Blackberry for the same reason. Isn’t texting fun now!?
